Summer Nights

A half-moon lit night. Bright lights illuminating the countryside. The grumble of antilag, the whine of a turbocharger, and the roar of the engine as a guy backs six gears going up a straight. Even the centipedes were out for the occasion. Rally Club Summer Nights rallysprints . . . brilliant!

And, of course, Paul Bourne won. Subaru poweeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr!

"The Eagle has Landed"

I've finally made it back to this 'island in the sun' after a rather successful outing to Antigua. Now that is one beautiful island, and if you haven't been, I suggest you visit. Just watch out for the sea urchins - those spawns of Satans. Yes, I am bitter seeing as I managed to loss-way my foot in one coming back to shore one day. It hurt a hell of a lot, and then a friend of mine reason that he heard peeing on the wounds brings out the spines. Not fuh bad word. Candlewax please.

My akita died last week. It seems she developed some sort of nervous ailment while I was out of the island that was her undoing. Here's to you, Cody.

I've realised how much of Barbadian histroy and civics I've forgotten since Primary school. I think I'm going to take a trip to the library and catch up. Thinking about inviting the Dumpling, but then again, with her current book pile I might have to ban her for a year.

Decisions, decisions...
